Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Iftikhar Hussain said on Thursday the government had come to power through a democratic process and it should therefore complete its five-year term.
Hussian said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had clearly said that it was not in favour of mid-term elections, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were the two major political parties of the country and it was important for both to act in accordance with the constitution. He said PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif’s statement that no institution should remove the present government unconstitutionally showed that he was against any unconstitutional act which would derail democracy. Hussain said Nawaz’s demand of mid-term elections was not appropriate, adding that Nawaz had become the prime minister twice and was aware of the country’s politics. He said the country was passing through a critical stage of history, which required the nation to act in a responsible manner.
Democratic process, public mandate, votes doesn't give anyone right to rob the nation, kill innocents bastard.
This is the last argument they hypocrite robbers use as excuse, public bring us here, we have public mandate, we came through votes.
So, you can rob, shame on all Zardari tola, kick them out people before it's too late.
Noone can stop them because this nation is too selfless to stand up for their integrity, if any. There are riots against oppression in arab, african, european countries and now even in India; but never in Pakistan.
Middle class blames poor for being uneducated. Poor blames the middle class for being coward. Rich never admit they are rich enough.
It is not just PPP that is part of the government but other coalition partners too make up the whole government. To say that this government should complete its 5 years is illogical. It is up to coalition partners to let the government stay intact. If they decide to part ways with PP then it CANNOT continue for the rest of full term. Nawaz Sharif, military or any other force has no right or legitimacy to ask for mid-term elections as long as all coalition partner stay together.
