Pakistan lawyers reach semis

Pakistan lawyers cricket team reached the semi-final of the third Lawyers Cricket World Cup on Tuesday. In the second round Pakistan beat England by eight wickets. The match was reduced to twenty overs due to rain and England could only score 73 runs. Pakistan’s Tariq Mahmood took three wickets while Umar Farooq and Abdullah took one wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in 11 overs for the loss of two wickets. Muhmmad Abdulha with 38 runs was the main contributor. Pakistan team will now play their last match of the second round against Sri Lanka on Wednesday August 17.
