The Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) staged a protest demonstration on Tuesday against the murder of journalist Munir Shakir. KUJ President Aamir Lateef said that the government has failed to protect citizens as well as journalists. “All journalist bodies across the country should raise their voice against the killing of Munir Shakir and this issue needs more attention because it is related to Balochistan,” he added.
