The 65th Pakistan Independence day was celebrated at the High Commission of
Pakistan in Pretoria, South Africa in a simple and graceful manner. The ceremony was inaugurated with recitation of Holy Quran followed by hoisting of the national flag to the accompaniment of national anthem.
The Independence Day messages of President and Prime Minister were read out. Addressing on the occasion, the High Commissioner Zaigham Uddin Azam, urged the Embassy officers, staff and Pakistani community in Pretoria to renew their commitment to serve their country.
