Hours after the Supreme Court directed the government “not to interrupt Zaffar Qureshi in NICL case investigation”, Babar Awan, lawyer of main accused Moonis Elahi filed petition in the highest court to remove Qureshi as probe head.
In his petition Babar Awan claimed that Zaffar Qureshi was not investigation the case impartially and requested the court to change the head of investigation team.
Awan further said he as a lawyer was confident over rest of the probe team but the head should be changed to give a neutral impression.
Earlier the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of NICL case indefinitely.
Chief Justice has his own agenda to pursue. Babar Awan should not expect any relief from our history's most prejudiced judiciary.
Babar Awan and his category of lawyers are always ready to defend the corrupt of this country, who have destroyed our economy.
