Floods imminent in Kasur after India leaves water into Sutlej

Kasur is beset with A flooding threat, as water level at Ganda Singh point is persistently rising after India let go of water into River Sutlej.
The administration has set up flood camps to cope with the flood-spawned exigency.
Flood Forecasting Division’s Control Center issued advisory after India left water in River Sutlej, as water level in Qasur point of Ganda Singh began to rise continuously leading the water level to mount to 16 feet. Accordingly, residents has begun evacuating the area.
District administration have established flood camps to avert any untoward incidents in the area. Also, government officials’ off days have been cancelled and they have been called on duty.
