One-wheeler killed

An unidentified man was killed and four others seriously injured while performing stunts and one-wheeling on Independence Day on Sunday. The victim died after his motorcycle went out of control while performing a stunt and collided with a tractor trolley. As a result, he was severely injured and rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police reached the spot and removed the body to the city morgue. The Mughalpura Police said that they were searching for the heirs of the victim. Four people were seriously injured while performing one-wheeling near Salamatpura. They were identified as Jabbar, 16, Sattar, 18, Younas, 21 and Ali Murtaza, 21. Edhi officials shifted them to a nearby hospital where their condition was reported to be stable.
Separately, one woman was killed and four others injured in different road accidents. An unidentified 80-year-old woman was crossing the road near Shalimar Hospital when a rashly-driven car hit her. As a result, she was seriously injured and shifted to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Her body was removed to the city morgue for autopsy. Police are investigating the matter.
Two motorcyclists were seriously injured when their bike collided into another bike near Shahdara. The injured were identified as Amjad, 20, and Qaiser, 21, both residents of Rana Town. They were shifted to a nearby hospital where their condition was reported to be stable. In another traffic mishap, Sajid, 18, was seriously injured when a rashly-driven truck hit his donkey cart from behind.
He was shifted to nearby hospital where his condition was reported to be stable.
