The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore is organising a sports festival to mark the Independence Day at DHA Sports Stadium today at 8pm. The events of basketball, football and rugby will be held in the festival. Chief Engineer and Technical Secretary Colonel Azam Shahzad, Projects and Planning Secretary Colonel (r) Saqib Mahmood and DHA Secretary Colonel (r) Muhammad Naveed Sikandar Khan Rana will be the guests on the occasion.
All the age groups (children, girls and boys) residents of DHA Lahore will participate in the games. “We hope the players will display their talent and technique in various disciplines of the games,” DHA spokesman Tajammal Hussain Anjum said. The DHA Lahore will distribute the trophies and shields to the notable position holders of all the events.
