Pakistan must support resolution for separate Palestinian state

Speakers at a conference on Friday demanded the government support the resolution to be tabled in the United Nation General Assembly in September for an independent Palestinian state.
They also announced to stage a march towards Jerusalem in March 2012 in order to raise their voice for the freedom of Palestine.
They expressed these views at International Palestine Conference organised by Palestine Foundation (PLF) at the National Press Club.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Raja Zafarul Haq said the Pakistani people would have to continue their support to the oppressed people of Palestine, who were suffering the cruelties of Israel from the last 63 years.
He said European countries were now under pressure due to the efforts made by other Islamic countries in favour of Palestine, adding that the march towards the Israel would be a great success for Islam.
Chairman of the Global March towards Jerusalem, Feroz Mitti Borwala, said people from across the world would participate in the march to foil the Israeli conspiracies against holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds.
He said the basic purpose of the march would be to express solidarity with the people of Palestine, adding that unity among the people and countries of South Asia was obligatory to destroy the conspiracies of America and Israel.
Speakers said no one would allow the Israeli regime to bulldoze the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic monuments in Jerusalem.
The speakers praised the historical triumphant of Hezbollah and Hamas against the Zionist regime, saying the Islamic organisations had sabotaged the image of Israel as an unbeatable force.
