Najamuddin Saifuddin Qawal visited Tunisia from August 8 to 11 to participate in a programme on ‘Sufi Music from the Muslim World’ arranged by the Tunisian television to mark the month of Ramadan.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, the qawals gave an enthralling performance at the National Centre of Art and also held a workshop at the Music Museum at the Erlanger Palace to familiarise the local musicians with the unique techniques of performing Qawali.
