National Database and Registration Authority, NADRA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with “UN Women” – the United Nations Entity of Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women – to maximise the technical assistance, cooperation and coordination to ensure the commitment for working effectively and in an efficient manner. Ms Alice H. Shackelford, Country Programme Director, UN WOMEN, Pakistan and Tariq Malik, Deputy Chairman NADRA signed the MoU today at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad.
UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) as the primary UN Agency within the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women, acts as a global champion for women and girls to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide.
