Debate on new province in the Punjab Assembly turned ugly when members of both sides of treasury and opposition benches clashed with each other and exchanged harsh words after which the speaker adjourned the session for an hour, private TV channel reported on Thursday.
The harsh words were exchanged when treasury benches termed opposition members traitors. Pakistan Muslim League-Q and an ally of the treasury benches, Pakistan Muslim League-Z had submitted two resolutions in the Secretariat separately in favour of establishing new provinces in the geographical limits of Punjab.
The PML-Q had submitted a resolution in favour of a Saraiki province whereas the PML-Z wanted to reinstate the status of Bahawalpur as a province and has also tendered a resolution in the assembly secretariat in this regard.
On requisition of the opposition members, a PA session was held today, under the chairmanship of Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal.

govt sould make maxixum provinces out of evry province its for the betterment of Pakistan. Sindh Punjab kp Baluchistan all of should get sub divided into more provinces and then provincial autonomy sould be givin to Pakistan .. and quota system should be fnished and open merti should come .. Then only we can see Pakistan going up !!!
