Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif reached residence of estranged leader of his party Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who is opposition leader in the National Assembly, on Thursday to pacify him.
Nawaz inquired about the welfare of Chaudhry Nisar and both the leaders exchanged views on important decision taken in party meeting and issue of creation of new provinces. As per media reports, Nisar held out assurance for offering his services for the party besides voicing his reservations.
However, no headway could be made in the meeting between the two leaders. The former prime minister left the residence of Chaudhry Nisar without talking to journalists, waiting outside the meeting place. Stringent security measures were taken at the residence of Chaudhry Nisar located in Faizabad.
