The seismological network of the Pakistan Meteorological Department recorded an earthquake measuring 5.7 in some parts of Karachi and Balochistan on Wednesday morning. A Met official said that the jolts were felt in Landhi, Korangi, North Karachi and the DHA areas. The epicentre of the quake was a site near Kharan in Balochistan, according to a Met Department press release.
