Condition of minorities

Pakistan appeared on the map of the world on 14 August 1947 after countless sacrifices.

At that time, it was said that Islamic rules will flourish in the country but non-Muslims will be free to live their life as they like. They will be free to preach their religion.

The minorities were given promised share in public life. The white colour in the flag does actually denote something. But it does not mean that discrimination on the basis of religion did not exist. In some governmental offices they are not given employment opportunities.

With the passage of time, the minorities got aware and began to speak against this discrimination. It is a hard fact but it is a fact that the Muslim dominated educational and working sectors do not allow minorities to share them.
