Punjab Health Secretary Jahanzeb Khan on Wednesday transferred two doctors involved in private practice during office hours. The Rawalpindi health executive district officer (EDO) complained to the secretary that Pediatrician Consultant Dr Arshad Arain and Gujjar Khan Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) Gynecologist Dr Sadaqat Aftab were doing private practice during office hours. Jahanzeb took serious notice of the complaint and ordered immediate transfer of the doctors from THQ Hospital, Gujjar Khan. On his orders, Dr Arshad Arain has been transferred to THQ Hospital, Kahuta and Dr Sadaqat Aftab to THQ Hospital, Murree.
