Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain separately called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the President House on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the president and the JUI-F leader discussed current political situation. Fazl also discussed developmental matters of his constituency, a release said.
On the other hand, Shujaat along with his party’s Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed discussed current political situation and the matters relating to the coalition.
Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon, permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, also called on President Zardari and discussed matters of interest. In the meeting, several topics relating to Pakistan’s role at the UN also came under discussion.
