A building collapsed here in area of Ghumti Bazaar on Wednesday morning, leaving at least two people dead.
According to Rescue sources, at least four people recovered from under the debris in grim state and shifted to Mayo Hospital.
According to details, a wash room was being built at the upper storey of a worn-out three-storey building situated in Ghumti Bazaar, when rains triggered the collapse of frayed roofs, leaving six people present there trapped under the rubble.
At least two people died of suffocation. While, residents and relief team immediately spurring into action, took out the trapped people and rushed them to Mayo Hospital.
