A 50-year-old unidentified man died while three others were injured in various accidents on Monday. In the first incident, an unidentified bike rider was hit by a speeding car near Gurumangat Road in the Ghalib Market Police precincts. The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No identity card was found among his beholdings. In another incident, Zahid, 30, was seriously injured when a recklessly driven car hit him near Shimla Hills in the Qila Gujjar Singh Police precincts. In yet another road accident, a 42-year-old man was injured as his bike slipped in rain. Both men were rushed to local hospitals where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
ROBBERY: A man was injured when he resisted in a robbery bid in the Sandha Police precincts on Monday. The victim, identified as Imran, was on his tobacco shop near the Sandha Bus Stop when two robbers approached him and demanded money. Imran resisted, upon which one of the robbers opened fire on him. Imran was shot and was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
