Pakistan will play two football matches against India in the UK on September 3 and 9, the officials of the Pakistan Football Federation announced Monday. The decision was taken in a meeting of the officials of the football federations of both the countries held in New Delhi on Monday. National coach Tariq Lutfi will lead the delegation and head of PFF’s marketing wing Sardar Naveed will be the co ordinator for the series. The matches are to be played in Yorkshire (Derby) and in Scotland. Pakistan will also play a match against some local team in Birmingham. The series had long been a subject of discussion and the organizers had reduced the series to one match. Now after prolonged discussions the venues and dates have been finalized.
