The children of the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson delivered 13 pieces of art by their famous father to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital on Monday. Prince, 14; Paris, 13; and Prince Michael — also known as “Blanket,” age nine — signed some of the artwork by their late father, who died on June 25, 2009 at age 50. The artwork was donated by Brett-Livingstone Strong, an artist and friend of the Jackson family, who had them in his private collection. The ceremony, also attended by Michael’s mom Katherine Jackson and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, unveiled Sketches of Mickey Mouse, a throne and a drawing of Jackson icon Peter Pan.
There was also a drawing of his famous moonwalk. “You look at this, it makes you happy,” said Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya at a ceremony at the hospital, “I know that when you see this and the kids see it, it will bring some type of joy to them, and at the same time, I know it will bring joy to my brother as well.” “They’re whimsical, they’re magical and there’s just joy and peace,” she said of the art.

  1. What beautiful children, Michael would be so proud of them. He did a wonderful job in rearing his children. There will never be another talent like Michael. I will never forget seeing him in Concert when he visited Australia, he was the most amazing Artist that I have even seen, he gave his all.
You are greatly missed Michael. Rest in Peace.
