Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa said on Monday that he was willing to sacrifice the governorship of Punjab for the sake of the Saraiki province. He urged all the political leaders, including the Sharif brothers, to develop a consensus over the Saraiki province through consultation. He said the PML-N should oppose the resolution on the new province in the Punjab Assembly.
He told reporters at the residence of Qasim Zia after offering condolence on the demise of his sister on Monday that millions of rupees were being spent on the construction of flyovers in Lahore but south Punjab was being ignored.
