Imran the only panacea to country’s problems: PTI

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders claim that Imran Khan is the only panacea to the problems being faced by Pakistan and that he, being the only alternative leadership available, can bring a positive change after the next general elections.
PTI Punjab General Secretary Dr Yasmin Rashid, PTI Punjab Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas and PTI Central Information Secretary Umer Sarfraz Cheema expressed these views here at an Iftar dinner hosted for journalists by Dr Yasmin.
They said Imran Khan’s principled stand on national issues was not only attracting new voters but also the supporters of other mainstream political parties.
PTI leaders said their party would win the next elections and bring a “true people’s government by transforming the country into a real welfare Islamic state”.
They said that major political figures of the country were in contact with PTI’s leadership and there could be many surprises for other parties before the next elections.
Meanwhile, PTI leaders including the party’s Lahore chapter president Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Mian Hamid Miraj, Asghar Awan, Ishtiaq Malik and dozens of party activists staged a demonstration against the increase in gas prices. They chanted anti-government slogans and demanded immediate resignation of the president, prime minister and Punjab chief minister for failing to meet the challenges faced by the people and the country.
