Five dead in Quetta attacks

At least four people were killed on Monday when unidentified armed men opened fire at them in Rind Garh, a suburb of the provincial capital. According to police, the assailants targeted the people standing at Jatak Stop, killing them on the spot. The victims were identified as Abdul Hameed, Abid Khan, Nehal Khan and Saadullah.
The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained. In Killi Aalmu, a man was killed and another injured in a hand-grenade attack. The miscreants targeted the labourers who worked at a tube-well. The deceased, Sohaib, belonged to the Sadiqabad area of Punjab. Police say the workers sleeping in their room at the time of the attack. The attackers in both cases managed to flee the scene while police have registered separate cases and started investigating.
