The process of land acquisition for Pitrand Hydro Power Project (PHPP) has been started in Abbottabad/Azad Kashmir, while all other problems will also be creased out so that the construction can be initiated.
Hazara Division Commissioner Khalid Khan Umerzai assured the chief executive office (CEO) of PHPP, General (r) Farrukh Javed who called on him at the Commissioner House Abbottabad. Abbottabad DCO Syed Zaheerul Islam, the PHPP general manager administration and land acquisition, Col Ali Shan and officers of the District Revenue Department were also present.
Discussing the project, the commissioner said in view of the prevailing power crisis new projects of electricity generation must not be delayed.
