The Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa (KP) government on Sunday asked the federal government to cancel the new Afghan trade agreement. In a letter to the prime minister, the provincial government said over one million people would become jobless because of this agreement. This, the letter said, would give rise to terrorism. Traders and industrialists were also not consulted before signing this agreement with the Kabul government, the letter said. Moreover, the KPK government demanded the federal government to take them into confidence before signing any agreement with the Afghan government in future.
