ANP to spread network of civil hospitals in KP

Malgary Doctoran (MD), Awami National Party (ANP’s) wing in public sector hospitals in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KPK), said its party leadership had vowed to spread the network of civil hospitals in the province.
Presiding a meeting, MD District President Dr Muhammad Jasim said the government planned to increase salaries and allowances of doctors, revive the four-tier promotion formula, increase salaries of Trainee Medical Officers (TMOs), increase non-practicing allowance for scale-17 and scale-18 doctors and appoint 500 new doctors and 35 dental surgeons.
“Now we can be sure that doctors will concentrate on their professional duties in order to serve humanity, even in far-flung regions of the province,” he said. Dr Yasmin said upgrading of civil hospitals’ equipments had been planned; however it would take some time.
