LPG price surges by Rs 9 per kg

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) increased the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price by Rs 9 per kilogramme on Friday. The LPG Distribution Association chairman said OGRA was forced to scale up prices because of ill-conceived policies. This Rs 9 per kilogramme rise has taken price of a domestic cylinder and a commercial cylinder to Rs 108 and Rs 408 respectively. The LPG chairman urged the government to take notice of poor LPG policies so that this increase could be taken back.
