The recent talks between India and Pakistan are encouraging and such negotiations should be held frequently, a top Pentagon official said on Friday. “Discussions between Pakistan and India in recent weeks and months are a healthy sign,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen said in a news conference. Mullen was referring to the recent talks held between foreign ministers of India and Pakistan.
