Four killed in house fire

Four persons were burnt when a fire broke out due to gas leakage in a house in Taj Pura Scheme on early Friday. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were said to be out of danger. Edhi Officials said the injured persons were shifted to Mayo Hospital but the names of the dead were not available. In another incident, a fire broke out again in Asia spinning factory on early Friday due to short circuiting and gutted more valuables worth thousands of rupees.
According to Edhi officials, this was fire had broken out at the Asia Spinning factory on Thursday due to short circuit and was controlled by Rescue 1122. However, early on Friday, the fire erupted again and reduced valuables worth thousands of rupees in ashes. Rescue 1122 firefighters controlled the fire. No injuries were reported.

An accident filled day
LAHORE – As many as 17 people received injuries in different road accidents on Friday. Edhi officials reported that 15 passengers received injuries when a truck collided with a bus near Bangla Stop on Muridke Road. The injured were identified as Khadim Hussain, Tayyab, Yousaf, Muhammad Naeem, Muhammad Aslam, Shafi, Kashif, Ashfaq, Muhammad Ali, Allah Dita, Manzoor Hussain, Shafqat and Ilyas. Edhi ambulances shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital where the condition of Khadim and Tayyab was stated to be critical. Meanwhile, Nasreen, 45, broke her leg when she fell from a rickshaw near Shahdra Mor. In another incident, a 9-year-old boy was hit by a speeding car when crossing Amir Road near Shadbagh.
