Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday asked Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Iqbal Khan to hold a debate on Saraiki province in the provincial assembly.
Talking to reporters at an Iftar dinner hosted by her for senior journalists, Dr Firdous said the issue of new provinces was open for debate and the Punjab Assembly speaker should allow a debate on the issue in the house.
