Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Saturday called for applications for admission to its three-and-a-half years Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. AIOU’s MBA programme offers four specialisations; marketing management, banking and finance, information technology management and human resource management.
AIOU Director of Admissions Syed Ziaul-Hasnain Naqvi said interested candidates could get prospectuses and admission forms from all AIOU campuses nationwide. He added that the last date for the submission of admission forms was August 20th, 2011.
The director of admission further said that only individuals who had completed 14 years of education from an HEC recognised institution with at least 2nd division (45 percent marks) were eligible to apply.
Naqvi that the MBA programme had been designed to enhance the managerial skills of management personnel at every level.
The programme is being offered through Approved Study Centers.
Admissions in the AIOU M Com accounting and finance programme and associate degree in commerce are also being offered.
