Admissions to the first year of Intermediate have started in all girls and boys colleges of the district.
College administrations have sought applications from aspiring students. The admission slips would be collected from August 13 until Aug 20 and by Aug 31 all admissions would be finalised. The classes would start after Eidul Fitr. It has been learnt that all the major colleges have fixed their merit from 800 to 900 marks thus depriving scores of 2nd and 3rd division students of getting admission in colleges of their choice.
