A police constable was gunned down while on duty in Pak Colony. Since the victim’s brother is affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the police are treating the incident as targeted killing. Younus’ body was found from the Misri Khan village. He is survived by seven children. “We think he was targeted because he himself did not have any enmity with anyone in the neighbourhood,” said the sources. Separately, a man was injured by unidentified assailants. However, 30-year-old Sajjad’s attackers managed to escape from the scene of the crime.
