Journalist Yousuf Khan passes away

Veteran journalist and Nawa-i-Waqt Karachi deputy editor Yousuf Khan passed away following a heart attack on Wednesday. He was 54. Khan was survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. His funeral prayers will be offered on Friday at the Sultan Masjid in DHA and he will be laid to rest at the graveyard in DHA Phase IV.
A noted columnist, he remained affiliated with Nawa-e-Waqt for many years. He was elected as the Karachi Press Club secretary twice. He was also an alumnus of Karachi University’s Journalism Department (now Mass Communication Department). His funeral prayers were to be held on Thursday but were delayed as his son could not arrive from London in time.
