Capital police sniffs out 27 blind murderers

The capital police have traced a total of 27 blind murder cases during the current year, collected vital evidences against the culprits and submitted the challans of these cases in the courts concerned. Islamabad Inspector General of Police Bani Amin Khan assigned special tasks to all police stations and Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of the Islamabad Police to resolve the murder cases and provide relief to the families of victims, said a press statement issued on Friday.
The IGP said that there was no alternate to life, however, it was the responsibility of the police to trace the killers of innocent people and provide justice to the bereaved families. He directed police to give priority to investigation of murder cases and book the culprits. Following these directions, CIA Islamabad and all police stations worked hard to trace the blind murder cases and succeeded to trace27 murderers after collecting forensic as well as other vital evidences.
Every available resources and latest investigation techniques were used to resolve these cases. Due to these efforts, the CIA traced five murder cases while Golra and Shehzad Town police station traced four murder cases each. Similarly, the secretariat and industrial area police traced three murder case each, while Aabapara and Margallah police traced two murder cases each.Sihala, Kohsar, Tarnol and Koral police stations each traced one murder.
