He had some reservations about the new service structure and claimed that talks with YDA in Poly Clinic hospital are underway and soon they would join hands.
However, when YDA President in Poly Clinic Dr. Muhammad Ajmal give a different version when he was contacted. “Well, things were near to solution and we don’t think that there is any need of strike. Issues are resolved through negotiations,” he said.
He said that the YDA negotiations with Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) is going on and things would be settled soon. He ruled out any joining of hand for strike with the young doctors in PIMS.
Meanwhile, Patients in PIMS complained that they are facing problems due to the YDA strike that has been going on for last 17 days.
“Why should they always opt for strike and protests. There is no other way with them to resolve the issue,” said a patient in a ward of the hospital.
