Wholesale dealer Dost Mohammad Khan, 50, was shot dead by two unidentified bike riders in the fruit and vegetable market on Thursday. Police said Khan was busy working at in the market when two bike riders opened fire on him. As a result, Khan sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. The deceased belonged to Swat.
FIRE: Valuables worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes as fire broke out in the Asia Spinning Factory on Thursday. According to Edhi officials, the fire broke out because of short-circuiting. Rescue 1122 controlled the fire. No injuries were reported.
