Two people, including a girl, were killed, while many sustained injuries as a four-storey residential building collapsed in Karachi, rescue team said.
According to Chhipa rescue services, a 4-storey residential building at Moosa lane, an area of Liyari, was collapsed due to unknown reasons and several people were buried under the debris.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after the incident took place and recovered three injured people form the wreckage of the collapsed building and shifted them to nearby hospitals.
Sources said that many people were stranded in the rubble who have been tried to be recovered, while officials expressed fear of mass casualties because of this mishap.
