Pilot killed in Indian Air Force plane crash

An Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft crashed in Uttar Pradesh’s Mau district on Thursday, killing the pilot, an official said.
“The aircraft crashed in a village near Madhuban town,” superintendent of police Onkar Singh told newspapersons on telephone from Mau, some 250 km from here.
“We are reaching the accident site. As of now, we cannot confirm anything,” he added.
On Tuesday last also, an Indian airforce MiG-21 aircraft crashed at the Nal airbase near Bikaner in Rajasthan in which the pilot was also killed.
