Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Iqbal, on the requisition of the opposition, summoned the assembly’s session on August 11. In the session, the opposition members want to discuss financial mismanagement in the province, prevalent unrest, unfair distribution of development funds among districts and unfair policies regarding the Saraiki and Potohar regions. The previous session chaired by Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood was also requisitioned by the opposition.
