Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Wednesday ruled out chances of a military operation in Karachi and urged all political parties and stakeholders to jointly evolve a strategy for improving the law order situation in the city.
“I do not see any operation in Karachi.
All political parties and stakeholders should sit together and sought out this political and administrative issue,” the commerce minister said to media outside the Parliament House. He, however, said politics of allegation should be stopped as it will hurt national interests. Meanwhile, he said MQM is an independent party and Pakistan Peoples Party will accept its decision, adding that killing of innocent people in Ramdan was deplorable.
