Encroachments in Chaklala Cantt are causing frequent traffic jams in the area during Iftar time, with the transporters demanding the authorities take notice of the situation. As the holy month of Ramadan began, stallholders and cart pushers set up their businesses at the Lalkurti Bazar intersection, Dharai Hassan Road and the road near Tasweer Mahal cinema in Chaklala Cantt. The encroachments are creating hurdles in the smooth flow of traffic during Iftar time. A large number of people had to break fast on the road due to a massive traffic jam on Dharai Hassan Road the other day.
