Every individual in the city seems to be mourning over the condition of Karachi, ranging from unannounced loadshedding, target killing, unemployment, regular strikes etc. The supposedly “elite” areas of the city, assumed secure from these issues, are affected by frequent robberies.
Karachi, once considered an industrial hub of the country with the largest population and amazingly vast seaport and trade opportunities, is no more an area for safe and profitable trading. The labour and other resources of the city are being left unused and wasted.
The industrialists are nowadays striving hard to achieve a standardised lifestyle they have been maintaining since decades. Bread and butter are now out of the reach of the lower classes of society. No one apart from our beloved politicians is happy in our country.
