Mason’s son secures third position in Matriculation

Muhammad Saif, who bagged the third position in the humanities group among boys in Matriculation, is the son of a mason, Pakistan Today learned on Tuesday. Saif was a private candidate from the backward area of Rukkan Pura, Kasur.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Saif attributed his success to the efforts of his parents and teacher. He said he was a private candidate and his teacher taught him free-of-cost. He said he intended to become a software engineer.
Saif’s teacher Naveed Shahzad claimed that Saif only slept three hours every day and had reaped the fruit of his hard work. Most of the other Matriculation position holders aimed to pursue medicine as a career. Topper Laraib Farrukh of KIPS High School asked the high-ups to end corruption and also stressed on the importance of a literate leadership. She said that the prayers of her parents and teachers paved the way for her success. She said that she used to study six to seven hours a day. She said further that she wanted to go into the field of medicine. She was of the view that the position holders were never special students.
Taimoor Jaffar Ali of Crescent Model School, who topped amongst
boys also wanted to pursue medicine. He said his school provided him
all the facilities he needed.
Muhammad Fareed of The Punjab School, who stood third amongst boys, said despite power outages and other problems, he managed a position. He credited his success to his parents and teachers. Fareed also wanted to become a doctor.
