The court extended pre-arrest bails of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan, Naheem Azam Khan and the former DIG police Laiq Ahmed Khan in National Police Foundation (NPF) land scam on Tuesday.
Special Judge Central (SJC) Syed Akhlaq Ahmed Shah extended the pre-arrest bail. The court also ordered Adiyala Jail Superintendent Mohsin Raffique to present the MNA on the next date of hearing. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials told the court that Aqeel was in Adiyala Jail on judicial remand and not in FIA’s custody, therefore FIA could not present him in the court.
