Wasan willing to go to anyone’s door for peace

Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Wasan has sought the cooperation of all the political parties by saying that government could not put the house in order alone as some 10 to 12 people are being killed in Karachi daily.
Talking to media at Sindh Secretariat on Monday he said he is ready to go every where for restoration of peace in Karachi . He would visit to Nine Zero as well as Bacha Khan Center to negotiate with MQM and Shahi Syed.
He said that Karachi is the big city .The government resolves the issue at one place but problem rises in any other part of the city but such incidents are also happening at other international cities. He said that after assumption his office , he took many steps to align the things in right direction but there is lot of work to do. He said that the return of Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad is incredibly decent move.
He said that strong mafia and anti social elements are present at Karachi .The weak perception of Pakistan is spreading throughout the world because the peace is not prevailing in Karachi for last many months. He said that 12 people were killed only on Sunday in different localities of Karachi. “ I may be caught in the grip of aggravation during Ramazan”, he added.
The provincial minister said that on the directives of President Asif Zardari , special package of Rs five billion has been given to Sindh police to equip the force with sophisticated arms and ammunition and state of art security gadgets and equipments. He said that the security of the mosques would be beefed up during Ramazan.
The minister also directed the concerned authorities to ensure the smooth flow of traffic on the roads of Karachi.
