Senator Babar Awan told reporters at the Pakistan People’s Party Sindh Media Cell on Sunday that there was no resolution or bill to be presented against any institution in Sunday’s session of the National Assembly, where only national issues would come under discussion, adding that the next 24 hours were very important for democracy.
Awan said the nation had not forgotten those who had attacked the judiciary, and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was upset because of the upcoming Senate elections and the expected result. He said his party wanted to protect the plant of democracy.
