The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday accepted the bail plea of a man involved in a murder case. A single bench comprising Chief Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman resumed hearing of a kidnapping-cum murder case. During the course of hearing, the counsel for accused contended that on January 18, 2011 Sihal Police registered a case against Muhammad Ali and his brother Kaleem Ullah for abducting and killing a girl. The counsel submitted that at the time of murder, Muhammad Ali was not in Pakistan. He alleged that the police was charging his client in a false murder case. He said that Ali arrived Pakistan on January 22. The lawyer also produced the passport and other relevant documents which showed that the accused reached Pakistan four days after the incident. After hearing the arguments, Chief Justice IHC accepted bail plea of the accused and ordered for his release.
