Renowned Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi here on Sunday visited the Indus Hospital where he was given a detailed briefing on the hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities, scope of services, milestones and future plans by its CEO, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan and Director Medical Services, Dr Zafar Zaidi.
The cricketer, who was keen to visit the patient wards and see the latest equipment and technology in use at Indus Hospital, went round various sections of the hospital and saw its facilities. During his visit, Shahid Afridi interacted with young children admitted to the wards and brought a smile on the faces of many patients receiving free treatment at the hospital.
Lauding the efforts of the management of the hospital for undertaking the noble mission of providing quality health-care services completely free to the citizens, Afridi expressed his appreciation for the cause, and emphasised the need for everyone to support such endeavours.
